The Big Stampede Bike Swap

For those of you that didn't have a chance to make it out to The Big Stampede Bike Swap and Expo this year, I highly recommend marking this one on the calendar for next year! This event pretty much had it all: bikes, new/used, clothing, TT equiptment, and more components than you could shake a stick at:) The venue was pretty amazing as well. That was my first visit to Lowe's Motor Speedway and it was crazy!

Well the countdown is on, one more week until Thanksgiving. For me, that means some really good home cooking with my family. The clinic will be open next Monday and Tuesday for appointments then it is off to Pennsylvania for the rest of the week. Good luck to everyone participating in the Turkey Trot and other various runs in the area. It was great seeing some familiar faces at the Bike Swap and have a great week! Train hard and train smart.

Ironman Wisconsin / USAT Coaching

Congratulations to our Ironman Wisconsin Athletes!!! A lot of hard work and determination was put on the line to perform at your best. It was a pleasure to help all of you to have a successful injury-free race:)

I was also fortunate enough to attend the USAT Level 1 Coaching Clinic in Chapel Hill. I was impressed by the organization of the material as well as the way in which it was delivered. The clinic included information on swim mechanics, bike fit, and running economy. I intend to use the clinic information to provide our athletes with as much knowledge and application to enhance human performance.

I know the season is winding down but don't forget about Pinehurst next month as well as the Ramblin Rose Women's only Triathlon. Carolina Sports Chiropractic will be on site providing ART care at both events! Have a great weekend and upcoming weak. Train hard and train smart.

JF Hurley Triathlon

Wow!! This was my first experience at a Formula 1 type triathlon format. What a way to practice transitions!! The race was a success and we were happy to be on location to provide ART and Chiropractic care. Our next event will be the Lake Norman Tri on August 25th. I have heard this is a great event that will showcase quite a bit of the Charlotte Tri talent. I am excited to help out and watch!

The clinic is continually growing and surpassing milestones thanks to all the patient referrals that we receive. We definitely could not do it without you! Thank You!!

Training for IMFL is in progress and going well. It appears the next 12 weeks will build up pretty quick. I look forward to the challenges and road that lies ahead. Have a great upcoming weak. Train hard and train smart.

Over the Mountain Triathlon

I hope everyone is having a great week! Thank you to everybody who stopped by the tent at Over the Mountain Triathlon. We had a great time and I believe we were able to help some athletes recover a bit faster after a wonderful event!

The clinic is growing and keeping me pretty busy. My 21-week training plan for Ironman Florida started this week. I'll keep you posted on how the training is progressing. In the mean-time train smart and I look forward to seeing many of you on the pavement.

Race Sponsorship

Quite a few great things going on here in the clinic. One of our athletes finished within the top 8% of the 1/2 Ironman in Florida two weeks ago. His sub-5hr time has set him on pace for a strong showing in Ironman Wisconsin later this season.

CSC has teamed up with Set-Up events to sponsor some races close to home. Look for us at the following events:

Over the Mountain Tri 6-3-07
JF Hurley Tri 7-21-07
Lake Norman Tri 8-25-07
Pinehurst Tri 10-6-07
Ramblin' Rose 10-7-07

CSC will be present at each event providing ART care for the athletes. We look forward to providing quality care and hope to see you out at the races!

It's crazy to believe that the tri season is in full swing. We are holding some group rides out of Try Sports Wednesday evenings at 6:00. Train smart and train hard.

Game Time

Well the tables are coming and the electricity has been turned on. It is now almost Game Time! This is the first post of Carolina Sports Chiropractic. From here on out within this blog the clinic will be referred to as "CSC".

CSC has been a dream of mine for quite some time now. There has been so many important people in my life that has helped to make my dream a reality. The purpose of this blog is to keep all of the patient's, family, and friends (pretty much all the same people) up to date on clinic info, performance enhancement, and all kinds of other cool stuff. Thank you again to everybody that has supported my dream and I look forward to helping others acheive their goals and dreams as well.
